London looks for strength in unity

An overview of a number of the collaborative initiatives been launched by the 42 universities and colleges in London, UK. While there is fierce competition between the institutions for the best students and funding, the initiatives show that there is a growing collective spirit amongst members of London's higher education sector.

An analysis of the variations in fees charged by universities in the UK for graduands to attend their own graduation ceremony. The average graduation fee for tickets for one graduand plus parents is UKPd33, although there are wide variations across the country.
