Article Abstract:
There is growing use of multimedia technology in presentations, which reflects a more general shift towards using visual forms in communications rather than written forms. This has great implications for the education sector, since multimedia can be used to describe concepts which are difficult to put into words. Successful multimedia communication depends on using pictures and graphics as narrative in their own right instead of merely to illustrate text.
