Article Abstract:
Staff at universities and colleges in the UK face harassment, intimidation and violence, according to information released to The Times Higher Education Supplement under the Freedom of Information Act. The figures show that there have been over 1,000 incidents of student aggression towards staff over the past five years, and this could only be the tip of the iceberg as 37 institutions claimed that they had not recorded any incidents of aggression over the past years.
