Overseas ventures; why business schools should adopt a more international outlook
Article Abstract:
Business schools need to become international in outlook to respond to changes in political and economic life and the better communications brought by technology. Managers who have an international background may be recruited, but are more likely to be trained in business school. Business schools need international faculties and courses where students are based abroad. Language training is also vital.

Where the heart is, but not the incentive to stay
Article Abstract:
A large number of young people leave Northern Ireland (NI) to attend university because the choice of courses in NI is limited. One consequence is NI loses many young qualified people. The government are trying to address the problem by extending the number of courses on offer.

NI equality law prevents abolition of tuition fees

Issues concerning the possible abolition of student tuition fees in Northern Ireland are discussed. Province minister Sean Farren stated that it would breach equality legislation and that paying fees did not deter potential students.
