Article Abstract:
The Kiev Academy in the Ukraine has opened again as a private college after a closure of 175 years. More than two hundred students have enrolled in spite of high Ukrainian inflation adding to fees. Government funding is available to help with fees. Students are interested in the academy's courses as they have strong international links. Academic staff do both teaching and research, and students are free to comment on lecturers and suggest new topics of study.
