Tracker of talent with 200,000 in her sights

Deborah Eyre, director of the National Academy for Gifted and Talentd Youth (NAGTY) has been charged by the government with compiling a national register of the top 5 percent of England's most able children. The aim is to track the around 200,000 pupils through secondary school and onto university.

Fund mooted to lure top research talent to Britain

Research councils in the U.K. wish to independently fund overseas PhD students in order to attract top global research talent to Britain. They assure that the initiative is only aimed at enhanced quality of research and would not affect home students.
