Shortage of bodies bodes ill for medicine
Article Abstract:
A shortage of cadavers is leading to junior doctors gaining an inadequate core anatomical knowledge. The Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) of England has called for a national campaign to urge people to donate their bodies for medical study, since dissection is still considered the best way to gain knowledge of anatomy.
