The campus acolytes of mother Earth
Article Abstract:
Issues relating to the campus activities of student pagan societies are examined in the light of the argument that people frequently get the wrong idea about paganism from films such as "The Wicker Man". Rob Hadden, president of the Union Pagan Society of University College London, dismisses the stories of sexual initiation ceremonies and obsessive priapic worship that have dogged paganism for years and states that he believes a renaissance could be on the cards for campus paganism as a result of changing perceptions of the religion.
