Shadow over Baghdad
Article Abstract:
Issues relating to the difficulties faced by students in Baghdad, Iraq, as they try to get back to some sort of "normal" routine at university following the invasion by US soldiers are examined. Difficulties faced by the students include a lack of resources at the university, a reduction in the study week to four days from six days, the dangers of travelling through the streets to get to the university and the fear that the old regime could return.
