The executive functions of teaching
Article Abstract:
Teachers should be recognized as executives with managerial demands on them parallel to those of corporate executives. Executive functions of teaching include communicating goals, creating a good environment in which to work, educating, motivating and evaluating those being supervised and regulating the activities of the workplace. These functions are defined and techniques for achieving them are outlined.
