The challenges of change
Article Abstract:
An analysis of how Western influence is changing the educational system in China and the reservations being expressed by some Chinese academics about whether or not these changes are all for the better. It is contended that the current rapid expansion of the university system in China may be taking place too quickly and that educational standards are suffering as a result.
