War and just war: A traditional distinction
Article Abstract:
The just war situation came into existence in the Middle Ages but developed several streams of thought in subsequent centuries and today it is just a matter of more confusion. The evolution of just war and the need for moral theology to reestablish a connection with the tradition from which just war theory emerged is summarized.

Just war theory and high tech: virtual war
Article Abstract:
The legacy of the struggle for world dominance may lead to the emergence of a 'virtual war.' A war not fought through military actions but rather by disabling economies to disrupt societies with the use of high-tech computers. Though far from realization, it poses a dangerous moral problem.

The right to private property is examined and justified using the principles of justice, law and economics. Private property is differentiated from state-owned and communaly-owned property which are neither inherently just nor economically efficient.
