Article Abstract:
An analysis of the UK government's higher education bill and funding for higher education. It is argued that the government should not try to take money from the students in order to fund higher education, instead student fee increases should be combined with real increases in public funding in order to boost the level of expenditure/student and to ensure that students from all social backgrounds have access to higher education.
