An unnamed postgraduate student at Oxford University describes their experiences of an animal rights protest outside Balliol, College, Oxford, on 29 January 2005. It is argued that protesters should act consistently with their espoused beliefs and sign declarations in which they refuse to use any medicines that have been developed through animal experimentation.

Article Abstract:
The chair and director of the policy and public affairs of the International Obesity Task Force argue that action needs to be taken in the UK to combat obesity. It is argued that if the government fails to act soon, then in the future the economic consequences of obesity on the healthcare infrastructure will be unsustainable.
