Club ties sideline oval ball tradition
Article Abstract:
The sport of rugby union has traditionally been closely linked to universities, and statistics from the British Universities Sports Association show it to be one of the most popular games at university representative level. Several of the England players selected to play Italy are former student players, and full commitment has been long established in the amateur game. However students have had to balance academic work and sport now that the game is professional, as clubs can demand attendance at training sessions.

Poetic licence
Article Abstract:
All historians are by definition revisionists, according to Roy Foster, professor of Irish history at Oxford University, England, and official biographer of Irish poet W.B. Yeats. He therefore does not feel that his work has been unusually revisionist. He acknowledges that Yeats is a very challenging subject, and believes that it is an advantage that history is so significant in Ireland. He has great respect for Yeats' ability to recover from very significant blows.

Reflections in the eye of an eagle
Article Abstract:
President Clinton acknowledged the help he received from Labour Party officials in his election campaign. They are now looking at the possibility of adopting some of his ideas, Clinton's success was achieved by stating the need for higher taxation, an unsuccessful ploy in the British election of 1992. Some observers feel that the Clinton success is being seen as relevant to those in the Labour Party who wish to modernise the party's policies.
