Plans are under way to reform Australia's power supply systems at the state and national levels. To date, an agreement for the creation of a national grid has been made. Meanwhile, the state of Victoria is working on the sale of United Energy Ltd., a move that is expected to determine the pace of electricity deregulation in the future.

Georgia Power Co. contracted with Transnational Computer Technology (TCT) for the development of a powerful help desk for contacting a support center and initiating the repair process. TCT developed the Resolve system for the task.
