Canon, Toshiba venture brings SEDs to commercial stage
Article Abstract:
Canon Inc., in collaboration with Toshiba Corp., will be releasing its unique display technology, Surface-conduction electron emission display (SED) whose features include superior brightness, fine definition, and exceptional overall image quality as well as low power consumption. Both the companies are to start a new joint venture SED, Inc. that will manufacture SED panel. The details of the deal and the working of the SED principle are discussed.
