Article Abstract:
Pioneer/Technologies Group Inc has introduced its MEH-P777 and MEH-P555 MiniDisc tuner main units. The products are two of 14 new models in the firm's Carrozzeria line of car audio system products. The MEH-P777 sells for $494, and the MEH-P555 costs $359. Other products include the $359 DEH-P777 and the $255 DEH-P555 CD tuner main units. Also, the Carrozzeria series includes four CD source units, namely the $179 CDS-P555 source unit, the $239 CDX-P670 six sequential multiple-CD source unit, the $239 CDX-P670 six sequential multiple-CD source unit, the $265 CDX-P1270 12 sequential multiple-CD source unit, and the $256 FM675 FM six sequential multiple-CD player.

Article Abstract:
Matsushita Communication Industrial Company Ltd displayed prototype models of automobile DVD navigation and theater systems at the 1999 Winter Consumer Electronics Show. The company unveiled a 5.1-channel DVD system concept, which received a lot of attention from the media. Matsushita also demonstrated the Day and Night (PHASE II) Series, a 1-DIN single CD receiver for sports cars. The Day and Night Series feature CD and MiniDisc drives, a tuner and a digital sound processor contained in a 1-DIN receiver.
