High-tech A/V unleashes snappy European comeback
Article Abstract:
The electronics market in Europe has finally begun to revive in 1999 after posting a sluggish performance and generating lackluster sales since roughly 1997. Some of the growth may be attributed to efforts to establish a single European market. Part of the resurgence of the European electronics market may be attributed to the introduction of popular, new technologies in audio-visual systems. Digital video disc players, in particular, have made a significant contribution.
