Article Abstract:

Although PCBs are in good demand in the digital audio-video equipment sector, this has not been true in the information and data communications sectors, which form the driving force for the Japanese PCB industry. Because of economic problems, manufacturers say that it will be difficult to even reach the 1997 production level.
