Original equipment integration products are the new key players in the aftermarket for in-vehicle technology, and forecasts show that total shipment revenues for these devices would reach about $1.3 billion by 2008. According to studies, consumers want to integrate their electronic devices in their cars and have centralized control over them. This is where integration products step in, and dealers must find a way to take advantage on this industry by providing services for installing aftermarket products and integrating electronic devices.
