Getting the most of a CD-R

CD-Recordable (CD-R) and CD-ReWritable (CD-RW) are packaged with several premastering applications to create fun projects for PC users. Newly launched CR-Rs included near seamless interfaces, audio and video editors and CD label makers. Other CD-Rs such as the Easy CD Creator from Adaptec offers packet-writing capability, which allows the recorder to function as a floppy drive. Other CD-Rs in the market today include CeQuadrat's WinOnCD and HyCD Inc's HyCD Play and Record.

Thomson tests the waters new digital products
Article Abstract:
Thomson has launched its latest range of digital entertainment products. The company launched several standard-definition TV models which feature the Guide Plus+, on-screen program guide. Thomson has also introduced its latest offerings of rear-projection, direct-view and high-definition TV under the Proscan and RCA brands. Other new products include the DTC1000 digital set-top box, the RCA5910P five-disc changer, the RCA Lyra MP3 player and the CD4100 and CDS199 digital still cameras.
