Antennas strive for acceptance
Article Abstract:
The advent of high definition television (HDTV) broadcast has brought a resurgence in the use of television antennas. As with NTSC signals, HDTV signals are better received by antennas that are located outdoors, on higher ground and are bigger. However, some manaufacturers have opted to refrain from labeling their products as 'HDTV-ready.' Some firms are also veering away from the conventional element style and are producing antennas that are aesthetically pleasing or simply unobstrusive.
