LCD output heats up as new uses emerge, users demand big screens
Article Abstract:
Manufacturers of thin-film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal displays (LCDs) have inceased production to meet growing demands. The demand for TFT LCDs has been particularly strong in the personal computer, car navigation systems and mobile audio-video equipment sectors. Standalone LCD monitors and large LCDs are also enjoying robust demand. The latest development in the LCD market is the development of low-temperature polysilicon TFT LCDs.
