Oregan Networks sees digital lifestyle flourishing with Wi-Fi

Oregan Networks Ltd., an embedded software provider for digital home entertainment devices, is including the IEEE 802.11Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) technology in its software products. A study conducted by the semiconductor research group at IDC Corp. says that only 1 percent of the electronic applications used wireless local area network (LAN) technologies, but it will increase to 20 percent by 2009.
