The NRDC will aid Consolidated Edison Company of New York in developing and implementing an environmental policy for residential customers. Awards presented to utilities by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and Renew America are described.

The increased use of electricity will reduce total emissions. This is because the increased application of electrotechnologies will eradicate more emissions at the point-of-use than are generated at power plants.
