Pioneer aims for 20 percent of global market for large PDP TVs
Article Abstract:
Pioneer Corp. released five new PDP TV models in Japan as a part of its strategy to capture 20 percent of the global market for 40-inch and larger plasma display panel (PDP) TV. This TV combines several of Pioneer's original technologies such as Pioneer's Advanced Super CLEAR Drive method, which enables the expression of 5.75 billion colors and the Direct Color Filter, which reduces multiple-reflection problems.
