Pioneer plans to double up on CD receivers
Article Abstract:
Pioneer Electronic Corp of Tokyo, Japan, plans to double its FY 1999 sales of CD receivers in Europe and the US to compensate for poor sales in other international markets. The company, however, expects a slight gain in car audio equipment sales in the US. In line with its goal, the company will aggressively market its 1-DIN single CD receivers and offer a full line of 15 CD receivers that are equipped with 45W x four-channel amplifiers and feature power MOSFETs in the head units.
