Steady growth forecast for electronics industry through 2007
Article Abstract:
The Japanese Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) predicts that domestic production in Japan's electronic industry should increase from five to seven percent in 2004 and should experience a steady growth through 2007. Despite the continuing shift of conventional equipment production to overseas facilities, domestic production increased due to a strong demand for PDP, LCD and flat-panel televisions.
