The upsurge in the demand for the audio products that integrate into home theatre systems of the United States consumer electronics industry is discussed. The United States Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) predicts the country's 2004 audio market will amount to $5.53 billion, up 15.7% from 2003 figures.

DVD recorder sales expected to peak before Athens Olympics

According to a survey conducted by Dempa newspaper, manufacturers of DVD recorder are increasing production volume, as they prepare for increased demand in the months before the Athens Olympics. Orders are expected to peak as manufacturers take step to make sure that supply keeps up with demand.
