AA takes the central route
Article Abstract:
British car breakdown service the Automobile Association (AA) has launched its Homeline Service, a home emergency and repair operation. The subscription service offers homeowners a reliable interface between the customer and contractor for household emergencies such as burst pipes and power failures. The AA will inform the customer of the hourly rate for the service and will send invoices once the work is completed. The service provides customers with professional contractors who have to meet a number of technical and commercial criteria before they are accepted on the AA roll.

Prefab clout
Article Abstract:
Crown House in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, used prefabrication as its approach to the Nat West Tower refurbishment project, so that it could more easily provide the below ceiling services. The assembly lines had to be modified so that teams of eight made one of the three modules for the building. The project was so successful that the company has committed itself to a future with prefabrication, and expects to gain 50% of its turnover from its prefabrication factories.
