Alternative energy plans focus on hydrogen
Article Abstract:
In a bid to minimize US dependence on foreign oil, the US government, initiated by President Bush has laid emphasis on the development of hydrogen based energy system as an alternative energy source. While it is not yet confirmed as to where the funds to develop the technology and infrastructure for the use of hydrogen will come, other alternative energy resources are also being paid attention to.

The hydrogen economy: further studies needed before reaching a conclusion
Article Abstract:
An analysis is presented on the usage and economic feasibility of hydrogen fuel cells in hybrid vehicles in the United States. It is suggested to pursue more research before changing the fuel system for automobiles, as there are still battery limitations to be solved. The economical aspects of fuel cells are causing a barrier for the technological innovations.
