The MAGIC Cockpit, for the Aircraft of the Future
Article Abstract:
The Microprocessor Application of Graphics with Interactive Communications (MAGIC) simulator incorporates voice control and pictorial formats to train pilots. The device is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Voice control allows pilots to give and receive information while freeing their hands for other tasks. A photograph of the simulator in use is included.
