Several topics were discussed at the 1997 National Governor's Conference on Quality in Education. These include educational reform trends such as the adoption of technology in learning, cooperation between schools and businesses and the implementation of quality tools. Ford Motor Chmn and CEO Alex Trotman also talked about the role of teachers, parents and industry in the improvement of education.
