Flowcharts can show process improvements in action
Article Abstract:
Flowcharts can be used to gauge the efficiency of improvements implemented in the work process. This practice, which is increasingly used by quality professionals, provides instantaneous feedback on process improvements. For instance, Data Network Systems Test applied the flowchart method in the planning, conducting and reporting of product tests. It was determined that the use of flowcharts measured improvement effectiveness, kept track of timeframes for work completion, shortened the training period for new employees and improved employee morale.
