Fuel cells, the hydrogen economy and you
Article Abstract:
Fuel cell electrodes primarily transport electrons that are released at the anode and are not consumed in the chemical reactions that produce electricity unlike a battery. Proton exchange membrane fuel cells, Alkaline fuel cells, and Phosphoric acid fuel cells are some of the varieties of fuel cells. The barriers to market acceptance as well as the technical issues of fuel cells are also discussed.
