Improving service quality at Honda

To improve quality, manufacturing or service provided, necessary top quality inputs and processes are required. Service is an intangible thing, thus to improve quality of service provided a definite method has to be evolved best suited for the company. American Honda Motor Co. has developed and improved a 3-phase training program with use of e-learning and blended learning for quality service improvement.

Quality maintenance of an organization and its products and services does not end up with adopting a quality system. upgrading the quality system regularly, training the employees on the improvements made to the system, and maintaining the revised system with appropriate quality tools is very much essential for a 'healthy' quality system.
