The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) projects a $3-million profit for 2007 and has seen a growth in membership. It has enjoyed solid meetings attendance, and participation for the Center for Chemical Plant Safety (CCPS) has seen an all-time high. The results of the 2008 AIChE elections and the organization's set of long-term strategies are also given.
