Lean Six Sigma reduces medication errors
Article Abstract:
The usage of Lean Six Sigma for quality management in health care industry is discussed. The Six Sigma reduces medication errors that are made in prescriptions, pharmacy dispensing, handling by staff and handling by the patient in self medicating situations.
