Light washed jeans
Article Abstract:
Vertical planar illuminance (VPI) lighting technique has been used by UK interior design consultants Flack & Kurtz to provide lighting for a wall of jeans displayed in a London shop. VPI was designed by Zumtobel Staff Lighting to illuminate vertical working surfaces by providing suitable light which places less strain on the eye. VPI can also be used in art galleries and museums to create mood lighting, which can often be harsh when created with spotlights.
