Mark Schubin basically makes sure that nothing goes wrong in the televised broadcast of the performing arts such as those from the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Schubin is the tech guru of the opera on a host of broadcast issues that include handling translated subtitles and embedding bitmapped subtitles for five different languages.
