Rewiring houses and flats calls for specialist skills
Article Abstract:
Electricians who do domestic work need special abilities and, despite the often complex and difficult working conditions, must fully comply with the Wiring Regulations. During complete rewirings, supply often has to be maintained for the inhabitants, necessitating temporary work. This also has to comform to the Regulations and safety should not be compromised. Partial rewiring and extensions to existing systems must also comply and the condition of the existing wiring should be checked. Electricians should make it clear they are not responsible for unrelated existing installations.
