Article Abstract:
A wearable full-screen display with reflective LCDs is set to be the latest IT gadget and several companies are starting to introduce these products to the mass market. Among the vendors is Colorado MicroDisplay's head set which uses a Nematic LCD and an Asic microchip and has a SVGA screen with half a million pixels. Among the applications are thermal sensor displays for firemen and headsets for users of laptop computers.

Micro fabrication rapidly prototyped: tiny plastic structures can be made using a new type of stereolithography
Article Abstract:
The Laser and Photonics Systems Research Group at the University of Sussex, England, has combined stereolithography with advanced optics and technology for silicon chip production to make plastic micro constructions to micron accuracy. Nanofabrication could be achieved in the near future.
