Article Abstract:
The machinability of stainless steel is improved with the addition of sulphur, and can be further improved with the addition of selenium. Cutting speeds are increased and surface finish is significatly improved. Other new materials include a composite with high dimensional stability and high strength and a new polypropylene material range which are resistant to heat distortion.
