Heat Transfer Research has started offering the PHE software, which designs, rates and simulates a plate heat exchanger. The software, which measures each plate group individually using local physical properties, features an input file with exact heat exchanger plate geometry specifications available from manufacturers. In addition, the inpute file can be tailored to meet specific needs and updated for newly-introduced plates.

Vista Control Systems has started offering RA3S, a real-time acquisition, archival and analysis system that can be adjusted for any combination of analog and digital signals. The software enables users to optionally develop custom screens for viewing of live data and analysis of historic data. In addition, the software can archive data permanently or temporarily stored in a circular buffer.
