Automatic test equipment reduces test times by more than 60%
Article Abstract:
Test equipment manufacturer Power One of Camarillo, CA employed automatic test equipment (ATE) of San Antonio, Texas-based Autotest Co. The move was prompted by a significant increase in sales which would have been undermined by constant testing. The ATEs of Autotest enabled the firm to improve design testing times by some 60%, decrease production test intervals by some 300%, and boost overall production levels.
