Zoos network to contain disease: online health records could keep outbreaks from spreading to humans

Zoos around the world could use the Zoological Information Management System to monitor the spread of animal diseases which could cross over to humans. The system will make it easier for zoos to see if any of their animals came from another zoo who has reported a disease which is communicable to humans.
