A simplified model for the steady-state biofilm-activated sludge reactor
Article Abstract:
A simplified mathematical model is proposed to describe, design and control the steady-state biofilm-activated sludge reactor under substrate limiting conditions. Simple and accurate mathematical expressions for describing the substrate diffusion in biofilm are investigated.
