Back from lethargy: overcoming malnutrition's damage to brain power
Article Abstract:
Malnutrition is suspected to cause behavior abnormalities in children without injury to their learning ability, thus allowing the possibility that negative side effects of malnutrition in child development are reversible. School feeding programs created to alleviate the effects of malnutrition. Unfortunately, faulty evaluation methods caused policy-makers to hesitate in endorsing the programs. Study methods must be improved to convince policy-makers of the importance of the programs aimed at improving cognitive development of children suffering from malnutrition.

To eliminate malnutrition, agricultural planners must realize: dinner won't take care of itself
Article Abstract:
Malnutrition and agriculture have poverty in common. Malnutrition results from poverty and the general occupation of the poor is farming. Malnutrition is not an isolated issue, but is directly related to agriculture and environment when considered from a bigger perspective. To solve the problem of malnutrition, agricultural planners must take into consideration the overall effect of their agricultural projects on nutrition.
