Consequences of the cretaceous/paleogene mass extinction for marine ecosystems
Article Abstract:
A study on the consequences of the cretaceous/paleogene mass extinction for marine ecosystems is presented. The extent and timing of marine biogeochemical recovery from the end-crustaceous event is ultimately dependent on the extent and timing of open-ocean ecosystem recovery, which might in turn have created new evolutionary opportunities for a diverse array of marine organisms.

Evolving the psychological mechanisms for cooperation
Article Abstract:
A review of several types of cooperation in evolution behavior is presented. Several types of cooperation, though theoretically possible and functionally adaptive, have not evolved in some animal species as a result of cognitive constraints.
